Meeting room technology is important…and workers feel businesses should be taking it more seriously

We wanted to look at how struggling with technology during meetings and presentations impacts on the stress levels of office workers. We asked 1,000 office workers who run, present or attend meetings about their experiences with meeting-room technology, and their attitudes towards it. Our findings show that nearly three quarters of respondents believe that their organisation could take meeting room technology more seriously, with 53% believing that their organisation should invest in better technology for meetings. Incredibly, a third of people think their company doesn’t have the right technology to adequately facilitate meetings. Yet why is this? Organisations appear to be facing a range of barriers that are preventing the improvement of meeting room technology.
